The Above and beyond recognition centers on citizenship and
does not require a high grade point average or strong
academic ability, yet an expectation of the award is that students are
taking care of business in the classroom. We expect a positive
attitude, initiative, and cooperation from all students at Kennedy. The
Above and Beyond recognition is for students who truly surpass
expectations, not merely meet them.
The archive goes back to 1999 but unfortunately doesn't consistently
include the written act until the 2005 nominations and pictures until the
2006 nominations when during that period we went digital.
