experience another culture, learn another language,
be an ambassador for your nation and become a world
citizen? If so, now is your chance! Applications
for the International Rotary Exchange Scholarship
are now being accepted. This is an opportunity to
live in a foreign country for 10 months with Rotary
families and to attend school for an academic year.

Coats for Kids collection will be held at Kingston
Stadium on Thursday, September 25th at the Kennedy
vs Jefferson Football game. Please look through
your closets for any coats, gloves, hats, etc that
are still in fairly good shape to donate to this
worthy cause and bring them to the game on the
25th. Let’ see if the Kennedy side can outdo the
Jefferson side. If you aren’t able to go to the
game there will be a box outside the Activities
Office to drop your items off in.

The Cedar Rapids Foundation Executive Director will
be at the Homecoming game Friday night. We will
have a tent on the SW side. Be one of the first
100 to stop by the Foundation's tent, meet the
Executive Director, learn about the foundation's
work with alumni ... and get your own green/yellow
pom-pom to cheer on the Cougars!
Any students who are interested in auditioning for
Jazz Band One may pick up audition materials in the
band hallway. Auditions will take place the week of
September 22nd. Students who are interested in
Jazz Band Two will not need to audition. There will
